The wedding photos are being processed right now, and we fully intend to give a debriefing of that wonderful weekend, but we thought we'd take a little time to let you know...
...the Davies' have landed in Auckland.Our flight was smooth sailing overnight, and we arrived in Auckland just in time to catch the sun rising on Mt. Eden. It's a little colder here than it was back on the Cape, but we've been adjusting our wardrobes and bedding accordingly.
We've been here for nearly a week now, and while we're still lacking our very own connection to the internet, we now have electric bills, bank accounts, and a very cute flat in our names. The ass-kicking, however, has only just begun. Kate is currently on the job hunt and will be taking up membership at a nearby boxing gym, Benji's semester is already in full swing, and we've got a honeymoon to plan. And of course, there are bagels that need baking.
So, back into our cute little flat we go. We already miss everyone back in the States. We'll be reading about you in the International section of the paper.

Yeah, finally an update! Like a much loved novel, I have been anxiously awaiting the next chapter. More pictures of the flat please. I went to Google Earth last night and got an arial view of the neighborhood. I hope to fine tune the view to your actual house with an update to the program. Instead of big brother, mother is watching. Love you, Mom C
Wow. Carla knows all kinds of cool stuff about checking out what international jetsetters are doing. And here I was, back on Cape Cod, happy that I had learned to check my e-mail remotely...
