Hoping for Extra Luck in the Year of the Golden Pig

"More couples than ever tied the knot in the year 2006, a year with two springs according to the lunar calendar, because a traditional belief says that couples who get married in a year with two springs live happily ever after. But next year promises to be even more eventful, as it will be the year of the Golden Pig, which comes only once every six centuries. Another traditional belief says that people born in the Year of the Golden Pig live in abundance and comfort all their lives. As a result, many newborns are expected to come into this world in 2007."

Thankfully, Benji and I are NOT anticipating any piglets of our own in the coming year... although we ARE planning on living happily ever after, despite the fact that we missed our opportunity to tie the knot during the year of two springs. We were too busy showing off our act to Prince while we were in Vegas.... (check out our costumes!) Anyways, for those of you that are interested, the wedding is set for 7/7/07. I hear it is a very auspicious day for weddings, so save the date now!
